Congrats, Mr. President! Broadway's All the Way, Starring Tony Nominee Bryan Cranston, Recoups Investment

Robert Schenkkan’s All the Way, starring Emmy winner Bryan Cranston as Lyndon B. Johnson, has recouped its $3.9 million investment. The play began performances at the Neil Simon Theatre on February 10 of this year. 

Directed by Bill Rauch, All the Way starts with the Kennedy assassination and details the first year of Johnson’s presidency, focusing on his involvement with the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The drama begins on Air Force One on November 23, 1963, as the plane transports the body of President Kennedy back to Washington, D.C., and Johnson summons his courage to take on the role of commander-in-chief.

All the Way is up for two Tony Awards on June 8: Best Play and Best Leading Actor for Cranston. The show will play its final performance on June 29.
